Nigerian dwarf goats

three Nigerian dwarf kids
Nigerian Dwarfs, a distinctive breed celebrated for their small stature and sociable temperament. Hailing from West Africa, these goats are favored for their milk production and as companion animals, thanks to their lively personalities. On average, a Nigerian Dwarf can produce about 1 to 4 quarts of milk per day, with some exceptional individuals yielding even more. Their milk is rich and creamy, containing a higher butterfat content compared to many dairy breeds, making it ideal for cheese and soap making. They usually weigh between 60 to 100 pounds and exhibit a range of colors and patterns. Nigerian goats are resilient creatures that adapt well to different environments, making them an excellent option for both new and experienced goat keepers.
